Sick and tired of your school's internet restrictions? Can't access any website you want to? This guide will teach you how to easily access a blocked website with a few simple steps. By using something called Nslookup, you can locate the IP address for a website and use that instead of the usual web address. This works for all versions of Windows.
Windows 8
Hover your mouse in the top-right corner of the screen, then click on "Search". Now, type in "NSLOOKUP" and press enter. This looks similar to Command Prompt.
Type in the website that is blocked by your school's web restriction service. In this case I have typed in www.facebook.com. You will see one or more IP addresses pop up. Paste one of them into the address bar of your school's internet browser and press enter.
Windows 7 & XP
Press the start button in the bottom right corner of your screen, then type in "run" and press enter. In Run, type in "NSLOOKUP" and press enter. Type in the website that is blocked by your school's web restriction service. In this case I have typed in www.facebook.com. You will see one or more IP addresses pop up. Paste one of them into the address bar of your school's internet browser and press enter.
This is what NSLOOKUP will look like after you have typed in the web address.
Simply paste the IP address given into your internet browser's address bar.
